ISLAMABAD: Weather across the country will remain cold and dry across the country with no rain forecast till the end of this minth, according to the met office.

According to the Met Office, Islamabad will see cold and dry weather, while many districts of Balochistan will also remain under the grip of low temperatures.

In Punjab’s plains, smog and fog are likely to persist. Murree and Galiyat are also expected to stay cold and dry.

The department says Sindh’s districts will see dry conditions, while most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience cold weather.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are also expected to remain cold and dry. The Met Office has advised citizens to take precautions against the cold.

LAHORE SMOG LEVEL REACHES HAZARDOUS LEVELS

Lahore and several districts across Punjab are still facing hazardous air quality.

Early in the morning, Lahore ranked second on the list of the world’s most polluted cities, with an AQI of 439.

Air quality in other Punjab cities also remained poor. Gujranwala recorded particulate matter at 808, while Faisalabad stood at 507.

According to a global environmental website, New Delhi topped the list of the world’s most polluted cities today.
