The well-known Pakistani actress Meera revealed her charges for government-funded projects. According to the senior actress, her charges for government-funded projects should be Rs 5 million.

This statement of Meera sparked a debate on social media. In her recent interview, Meera also said that if the government can’t pay the money, then it should make me the owner of a few cinemas in the country, adding that this initiative would help to grow the film industry.

The actress stressed that producing films alone is not enough to revive Pakistan’s film industry. She said the sector also needs greater investment, modern infrastructure, and more cinema halls. According to her, the film industry cannot reach its full potential without the growth and development of the cinema industry.

Meera also said, “If the government wanted to make the film industry better, then it should focus on both film production and film exhibition. She also said that a cinema house can play an important role in making the film industry more successful.
