Lahore: Rajab Butt booked for assault, harassment

Another FIR filed against Rajab Butt for harassment

Another FIR has been filed against TikToker Rajab Butt at Lahore’s Nawab Town Police Station for alleged harassment and assault.

The case was filed on the complaint of TikToker Ayesha Sharafat, also known as Ayesha Jatt. Rajab Butt and Mir Shafi have been nominated in the FIR, while two unidentified women have also been included as suspects.

According to the FIR, the case includes charges related to assault, firing and serious threats. The incident allegedly occurred at around 4:00 am on July 25 at Dastan Café, where the complainant had arrived for a meal with Palwasha, Zoya and Ali.

The FIR states that while they were placing their food order, two men and two women surrounded them and allegedly assaulted them. The men also allegedly opened fire.

The complainant alleged that the assault and firing were carried out on the instructions of Rajab Butt. She further stated that the café manager, Khurram, was aware of the suspects’ identities.

Ayesha Jatt has requested police to take legal action against the suspects and provide her with protection.

This is not the first time Rajab Butt is facing legal challenges. He has been booked under blasphemy and cybercrime laws for launching a perfume named “295”. He is also facing National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) probes for promoting online gambling, and getting involved in a physical clash with lawyers at a Karachi court.
