A baby girl has been born to Muhammad Shafiq, the father of little Ayat Noor, according to reports on Tuesday.

Pakistan Connect’s team recently reached Haripur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to report on the case of five-year-old Ayat Noor.
Ayat went missing on August 10. She was later found dead after being abducted and allegedly sexually assaulted.
Ayat Noor goes missing
Ayat Noor went missing on August 10. Her body was found 16 days later in a dry well near a warehouse on University Road.
Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the case. They have been identified as Usman, Talha, Qasim and Hassan.
Pakistan Connect’s report showed the street where Ayat lived. Her house is located at the end of the street. The report also showed the place where she was allegedly abducted.
A CCTV camera near the area recorded footage that was later shared on social media. The footage allegedly shows a boy identified as Hassan taking Ayat with him.
Ayat’s body was later found in a deserted area near a well. The location is only a few minutes away from the place where she was allegedly taken.
It took 16 days for authorities to find her body. All four suspects are currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
Ayat Noor’s father demands justice
Speaking to Pakistan Connect, Ayat’s father Shafiq remembered his daughter and shared how she would welcome him when he returned from work.
“She would come running to me when I came back home from work and knocked. Then she would ask me, ‘Papa, what have you brought for me?’” he said.
Ayat’s father became emotional while talking about his daughter. He also appealed to the KP government and Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi to ensure justice for her.
He called for strict punishment for those responsible. “They should be hanged in chowk in front of everyone,” he said.
