Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam speaks about the team’s victory after winning the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
While addressing the media on May 3, Babar Azam said that it was a great moment for him, the players in the team, and the fans after winning the PSL title.
He said that the reason behind the continuous victories in the matches was a separate plan made for each match, and its implementation brought success to the team.
He added that the entire team performed great and gave their best, which resulted in becoming champions.
Babar said that winning the final is a great achievement for Peshawar Zalmi and me.
While batting first, Hyderabad Kingsmen were in trouble, as the entire team was out at just 129 runs in 18 overs.
In the chase of the target, Peshawar Zalmi did not do well initially, and Babar Azam himself returned to the pavilion, scoring a duck.

The team lost four wickets for just 40 runs, which made the match thrilling.
However, Aaron Hardy batted responsibly and played a brilliant innings of 56 runs, while Abdul Samad provided plenty of them by scoring 48 runs.
The outstanding contributions of both players pulled the team out of a difficult situation and led to victory.
Peshawar Zalmi chased the target of 130 runs for a loss of 5 wickets in the 16th over.
After the final, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi presented the trophy to Babar Azam, after which the players and fans celebrated. Pakistan Super League title in his name.
The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Shareef, also attended the final match of the PSL season 11.
He was accompanied by the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Atta Tarar, the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Provincial Minister for Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education in Punjab, Khawaja Salman Rafique, and Minister of State for Communications of Pakistan, Abdul Aleem Khan.
