The Government of Balochistan has approved a 100 per cent increase in the salaries of personnel serving in the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and the Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF), according to an official notification.
According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Finance Secretary, the salary increase will apply to all serving CTD and ATF personnel, regardless of rank, and will take effect from July 1, 2026.
The notification specifies that the increase will apply only to serving personnel currently posted in the CTD and ATF. Other benefits and entitlements, including allowances, pension, and gratuity, will continue to be calculated on the basis of the existing basic salary.
The Accountant General of Balochistan has been directed to incorporate the revised salaries into the July 2026 payroll, while all relevant departments have been instructed to ensure the immediate implementation of the notification.
The decision has been described as a measure aimed at further strengthening the police force’s counterterrorism capabilities.
