Chief Minister (CM) of the Balochistan province, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, said that this step is meant to give people better medical facilities and to make treatment easier and more efficient.

Under this program, patients can receive free treatment in major hospitals within Balochistan and in other parts of the country as well.

According to the official data, more than 345,000 patients have profited from the program so far.

Many important medical procedures have been carried out. These include 7,784 angioplasties and 575 bypass surgeries.

In addition to this, a total of 304 children with heart diseases have received free treatment through this program, according to the reports.

The program has also supported maternal health. A total of 24,688 normal deliveries and 20,344 C-section operations have been completed, the reports add.

CM Bugti further said that improving the health services is his government’s top priority. He also directed that no patient should be denied treatment under the Health Card Program. He also added that the hospitals should be paid on time.

This step is part of the government’s efforts to improve the healthcare system in the province and to help provide quality medical services to all citizens.
