Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has endorsed the mediation and ceasefire efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the government of Pakistan.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has praised the role of the State of Pakistan and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for the important progress regarding the ceasefire in Lebanon and expressed his special gratitude to them.
This statement is being given extraordinary importance in the context of ongoing diplomatic efforts in the region.
The Iranian speaker said in his message released in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the ceasefire in Lebanon is not the result of any one party but the unity and steadfastness of the resistance forces.

He described this progress as an important step and clarified that it should not be considered a final success, but rather, there is a need to move forward cautiously until complete victory is achieved.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts and said that Pakistan played a positive and constructive role in this process, which helped reduce tensions.
He especially paid tribute to the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that the diplomatic and military efforts made under his leadership are valuable.
The Iranian speaker said that unity, strategy and consistency are essential in the current circumstances, and all relevant parties must remain committed to their commitments and continue to work towards achieving common goals.
He also expressed his determination that Iran will remain steadfast in its position and will not back down from its principled stance despite any pressure.
