Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that I will snatch 100% of the seats from them in the Kashmir election.
Addressing a public gathering in Muzaffarabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “We stand with the government and the state in the national interest, but we are not prepared to stand with anyone for the sake of the PML-N’s interests.”
He alleged that elections are being held in phases to facilitate rigging, adding that every decision taken by the state is prioritising the interests of the PML-N.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that electoral rigging in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) did not begin with the current polls, saying the party had remained silent in the past for the sake of national interest.
“If I start talking about the previous elections, the discussion will go much further,” Bilawal said, adding that the PPP would never allow Azad Kashmir to resemble Indian-administered Kashmir. He criticised the suspension of internet services, saying such measures create the impression of an occupied territory.
The PPP chairman further said that oppression, violence, killings, and robbery were being presented as democracy, while destruction was being portrayed as peace. He questioned whether the situation unfolding in AJK could genuinely be called democratic.
Bilawal vowed that the PPP would neither back down nor bow before anyone, asserting that the party would reclaim all of its seats.
He maintained that regardless of the official vote count, the public had already chosen the PPP’s arrow symbol. Bilawal also accused authorities of repeating the same tactics allegedly used in the previous elections, saying it was the party’s responsibility to protect the people’s mandate.
Referring to the last elections, he claimed that bullets were fired against PPP supporters, but the party continued its struggle to safeguard the vote.
