Actress Bushra Ansari has addressed the exaggerated claims surrounding YouTubers’ earnings.
In a recent YouTube video of Nadia Khan, the actress said that she does not earn $10,000 from YouTube because of her busy acting career and frequent trips to Canada and Australia.
Currently, the actress has over 300,000 YouTube subscribers, where she shares recipes, family vlogs, and heartwarming moments with her grandchildren.
Many other actresses also have a strong YouTube presence. Shagufta Ejaz has nearly 650,000 subscribers and is more consistent with her uploads. Her daughters, Anya and Haya, are also established YouTubers with their vlogs.
Bushra Ansari married actor Iqbal Hussain in 2019. Following her divorce from her first husband, Iqbal Ansari, in 2014. She kept her second marriage private for a while.
Addressing the age gap between them, Bushra’s husband said, “If a man marries an 18-year-old girl, everyone is okay with it, but the second she marries someone younger than her, society shames her.”
Ansari has been actively contributing to Pakistani entertainment for many decades, beginning her journey as a child performer in the mid-1900s.
Her first dramatic acting role was in one of Iqbal Ansari’s productions and in subsequent years, she has appeared on PTV’s most-watched shows, including Angan Terha, Show Time, Show Sha, Rang Tarang, Emergency Ward and the Saturday Night Live-styled sketch comedy TV series Fifty Fifty.
She is also a recipient of the Pride of Performance Award.
