Web desk: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Danish School in Chitral, said that he pays tribute to the Field Marshal and the Pakistani Army, who played a historic role in the defence of the country.
The Prime Minister said that India suffered a humiliating defeat in the four-day war, and the role of the Pakistani Army, along with the Field Marshal, was key in this victory.
In his address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that, “I pay tribute to the Field Marshal and the Pakistani Army, who raised the dignity of the dear homeland. President Trump also played a key role in stopping the war.”
He congratulated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on being elected as the Chief Minister and offered him cooperation, saying that he hoped that Sohail Afridi would accept this offer.
The Prime Minister said that the federal government will fully cooperate in the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that the lives of the people can be improved.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif further said in his address that Mian Nawaz Sharif had a special interest in the development projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and he was always striving for the development and prosperity of this region.
He said that the present government is taking forward the same vision and taking revolutionary steps in the education and health sectors.
Construction of Hospital in Chitral
At the end of the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also announced the construction of a modern hospital in Chitral.
He said that improving health facilities is among the priorities of his government so that the people of Chitral do not have to travel to distant areas for treatment.
The Prime Minister said that the federal government will fully cooperate with the provincial government on education and health projects.
