Officials have reported that streetlights are being restored and repainted to ensure they operate effectively, especially to improve visibility and safety during nighttime.
At the same time, special initiatives are being undertaken to improve sanitation services, eliminate encroachments, and maintain a smooth flow of traffic on busy routes.
With an increasing number of visitors, the improvement of fundamental infrastructure has been recognised as a primary concern.
Officials further noted that, in accordance with the specific directives from the Government of Punjab, a comprehensive modernisation plan for Murree is progressing swiftly.
This plan includes upgrades to civic amenities, traffic management, and tourism services in line with contemporary standards.
The district administration has expressed confidence that the ongoing development initiatives will transform Murree into a more appealing, well-organised, and secure tourist destination for both domestic and international travelers.
The administration has highlighted that these efforts are designed to showcase Murree’s natural beauty while guaranteeing safe, comfortable, and high-quality travel facilities for both tourists and residents.
