The federal interior minister, during his speech in the National Assembly today, said that “I didn’t go to Iran for a defense agreement. He also criticised Jamiat Ulam-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for speaking against the state.

He also said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assigned him a duty and he himself is not fond of foreign tours.

Naqvi further stated that politicians should avoid non-political statements as “some things don’t befit a politician.”

Mohsin Naqvi said while criticising Maulana, “now you will never get a job, not the money from the state.”

He also suggested opposition in National Assembly to have a courage to listen others.

Mohsin Naqvi also revealed that the JUI-F chief urged the federal government to impose governor rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before governor rule’s imposition in the province.
