Construction work has started for the Dubai Loop project, which means that multiple Dubai job opportunities for 2026 are now available.

The Boring Company said the first step is to start making precast concrete parts for the tunnels.

Dubai loop project begins

Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), called this an important step for the future of transport in Dubai.

He praised the teams from Roads and Transport Authority and The Boring Company. Further, he thanked Elon Musk for supporting the project.

The Boring Company is hiring people in Dubai. It shared posts inviting people to apply. These jobs include:

  • Head of precast operations
  • Civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers
  • Architect and mechanical engineer
  • Environmental health and safety leader
  • Roles in project development, procurement, and recruitment

Eligibility criteria

People with experience in engineering, construction, safety, design, or project management can apply for these jobs. Most of these jobs will need skilled talents and relevant qualifications.

What you might want to know

The Dubai Loop is an underground transport system being built by The Boring Company with the Roads and Transport Authority. The project is currently under contract.

The first phase will be 6.4 km long with four stations. It will connect areas like the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Dubai Mall.

After, it will expand to 22.5 km with 19 stations, including links to the Dubai World Trade Centre and Business Bay.

The first phase will cost about $154 million and may take around one year after planning is finished.

The full project is expected to cost $545 million and take about three years to complete.
