Punjab Higher Education Commission offers contract jobs, salary up to Rs500,000: check here

The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has announced new job opportunities for experienced and qualified candidates.

These positions are offered on a contract basis. The last date to apply is 5th May 2026.

The PHEC is hiring for several senior roles. One of the main positions announced is Advisor or Consultant for Monitoring and Evaluation.

There is only one post available for this role. The selected candidate will receive a salary package of Rs500,000.

Eligibility criteria

  • To apply for this position, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria.
  • You should have a PhD or an equivalent terminal degree from a university recognised by HEC.
  • They should have at least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Those with an advanced degree can also apply if they have at least 20 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Applicants must have strong experience in planning and implementing development projects and in monitoring them at a senior level.
  • Experience in policy-making in higher education and administration is also required.
  • The maximum age limit for this post is 65 years. Applicants must also have a domicile of Punjab.
  • Candidates already working in government or semi-government organisations must apply through the proper channel.

You will need to upload their updated CV along with educational documents, experience certificates, CNIC, and other supporting papers.

Applications that have been sent by hand, courier, or email will not be accepted. A processing fee is also needed.

Fee structure

For senior posts, the fee is Rs2,000. The fee can be paid through digital transfer or by depositing it in the Bank of Punjab account provided by the commission.

  • Rs2,000/- for the positions mentioned at Serial No. 1–11
  • Rs1,500/- for the positions mentioned at Serial No. 12–14
  • Rs1,000/- for the positions mentioned at Serial No. 15–19

The fee should be paid to the Punjab Higher Education Commission through Digital Transfer, or a Deposit Slip to The Bank of Punjab (Account No. 6580045615700054, Branch Code 0320).

Applications without the fee will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, and no travel allowance will be given.

The commission also has the right to change the number of posts or cancel the hiring process at any stage.
