Educational activities have resumed in schools and colleges across Punjab from today.

On this occasion, under the directions of Rawalpindi Chief Traffic police, final traffic arrangements have been put in place around educational institutions to ensure that students, parents, and citizens do not face any inconvenience.

CTO Farhan Aslam has instructed all circle and sector in-charges to remain in close coordination with school administrations and ensure effective traffic management.

He stated that all in-charges will be personally present in the field during school opening and dismissal times.

According to the Chief Traffic Officer, only single-line parking will be allowed outside schools and colleges during dismissal hours, while forklifts will be deployed to eliminate wrong parking.

He further directed that patrolling duties be increased on major roads and intersections.

The CTO also instructed the administrations of educational institutions to clearly mark pick-and-drop lanes outside schools and colleges and ensure that no vendors or stalls are allowed to set up outside educational institutions.

He said that the Traffic Education Unit will prepare a schedule for awareness lectures on traffic rules and road safety in educational institutions.

CTO Farhan Aslam appealed to all road users to cooperate by following traffic rules to ensure smooth traffic flow.
