Emirates Airlines has introduced a special offer for passengers travelling to Dubai during the summer season, according to reports on Wednesday.
Under the Emirates’ new special summer offer, travellers flying to Dubai or staying there for more than 24 hours can enjoy free accommodation at a five star hotel.
Free accommodation at luxury five star Dubai hotel
According to international media reports, passengers must book their return tickets between June 22 and July 12 to qualify for the offer. The travel period must be between June 25 and September 30.
Emirates said that the passengers who are travelling in First Class and Business Class will receive two nights of free stay at a luxury five star hotel in Dubai.
Passengers who will be travelling in Premium Economy and Economy Class will be offered one free night at a five star hotel.
The airline said that the campaign aims to promote tourism in Dubai. Additionally, to encourage international travellers to spend more time in the city while enjoying its attractions and experiences.
Under the special package, passengers will also get access to a discount programme that offers special deals.
These deals will be at more than 600 restaurants, shopping centres, entertainment venues and spa facilities across Dubai.
Tourism experts say such summer offers help boost the tourism sector. And to make travel more attractive and affordable for international visitors.
Dubai to launch smart medical visa
Dubai may soon introduce a new “smart medical visa” system to make it easier for people travelling to the city for medical treatment. The new system is also expected to improve services for medical tourists.
According to reports, the plan comes after a new agreement between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
The process will begin before patients arrive in Dubai and will continue throughout their treatment and follow-up care.
The new plan will include better systems for members of the Dubai Health Experience programme. This will help international patients apply for medical visas more quickly before travelling to the UAE.
