The Excise and Taxation (E&T) department has announced multiple vacancies for the post of constable within Punjab. Here is how you can apply.
As per the notification released by the department, it has offered 198 vacant seats for the permanent posting of the constables in different regions of Punjab.
The deadline to submit the applications is May 11, 2026.
Eligibility criteria
The candidates who want to apply for the post must have passed their matriculation degree with at least a second division.
The age of the applicant must range between 18 and 25.
The candidate must be a resident of the specified domicile city in which he/she is applying.
For male candidates, the height must be five feet seven inches, and the chest must be 33 inches to 34.5 inches.
A female candidate should have a height of five feet and two inches.

How to apply for Excise and Taxation constable job?
The candidates can download the application form, the challan form, and the affidavit from the official website of the department: www.excise.punjab.gov.pk
The applicants will have to submit an application fee of Rs300.
Each application will be submitted by post to the specific regional/divisional address of the offices as mentioned in the advertisement.
The candidates would have to qualify for the physical running test:
Male-1.6 kilometres in seven minutes
Female-1.6 kilometres in ten minutes
After passing the physical running test, the qualified candidates can see the next test dates, which will be displayed in the regional centres.
It is in the best interest of the candidates to bring the original documents with them on the day of their interview.
