Mexican content creator Paola Márquez has died at the age of 30, according to reports from Spanish media outlet El Sol de San Luis.
The report stated that Paola Márquez was found dead inside her apartment in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on May 30. Authorities have launched an investigation into her death, which is currently being treated as a possible suicide, a representative of the state attorney general’s office told the publication.
Her father, Hércules Márquez Balderas, confirmed the news on social media, sharing an emotional message in which he expressed grief over the loss of his daughter and prayed for her peace.
Following the announcement, fans and social media users expressed shock and grief, flooding comment sections with condolences and messages of support for the grieving family.
Paola Márquez had built a strong online presence with more than 2 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, where she regularly shared lifestyle content and travel photographs.
In February this year, a viral influencer and content creator died at the age of 23 following a three-year struggle with cancer.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on February 16, Italian influencer Damiano Alberti’s relatives said that “a part of us has flown away forever” and described him as now “free from everything he went through.”
They extended gratitude to his devoted online community, noting how much he cherished influencer’s followers and took pride in the supportive space he cultivated.
Along with the message was a photo of Alberti smiling warmly, gazing ahead. The comments section quickly overflowed with expressions of shock, mourning, and solidarity, as fans reflected on the tragedy of losing someone so young.
One follower called the loss of influencer deeply unfair for “such a young boy,” while another, who is also facing cancer, credited Alberti’s candid videos with providing comfort and a sense of connection during their own difficult journey.
Alberti, a lifestyle influencer with over 11,000 Instagram followers, built a loyal audience through authentic engagement and everyday content. He first publicly disclosed his diagnosis in May 2023, explaining a temporary break from posting due to a malignant tumour in his leg.
In that update, he described the news as overwhelming but affirmed his resolve to remain hopeful and pursue treatment under specialist care. “I’m ready to face this period, overcome it as best as I can, and come back to be with you,” he assured his supporters.
