The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the postponement of exams scheduled from April 25 to May 6, with a revised schedule to be issued soon.

As per details, the commission has also deferred all activities planned for April 22 due to road closures in Islamabad.

These include interviews, document checks, and personal hearings, both in person and online, scheduled for the same day.

The FPSC responsible for recruiting civil servants and conducting competitive examinations such as CSS, said new dates for all postponed activities will be announced through its official channels.

Candidates have been advised to stay updated by regularly checking the commission’s website and notifications to avoid missing important updates regarding revised schedules.

Earlier, the commission had also postponed interviews and hearings under Programme No. 52/2026 at its Islamabad centre due to administrative reasons.

As per a public notice issued by the Programme Management Directorate on April 19, 2026, all interviews and personal hearings scheduled for April 20 at 9:30 AM were deferred. The affected proceedings were to be held at the FPSC Headquarters located on Aga Khan Road, Sector F-5/1, Islamabad.

Earlier, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) had shifted the examination centres of PMS 2025 candidates due to various security reasons.

An official announcement by the Commissioner of Rawalpindi Division states that the examination centres of PMS 2025 candidates are not in Rawalpindi but in Lahore.

According to the announcement, the subject papers which are compulsory for 1,216 candidates of Rawalpindi Division will now be held in Lahore rather than in Rawalpindi.

All 1,216 candidates who were initially to give their required papers at examination centres in Rawalpindi are affected by the decision.

These papers will now be conducted in Lahore under new arrangements.

The official update did not contain any additional information about the schedule or definite locations in Lahore.
