The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced a scholarship opportunity in the US.
According to the post on X, HEC has offered fully funded scholarships for PhD programs in the top universities in the US.
The deadline to submit the applications is April 30, 2026.
HEC has opened the applications for the PhD scholarship program under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project.
This will open a gate of opportunity for the Pakistani students seeking to study abroad, especially in the US.
The department will provide a yearly stipend of $12000 to the qualified candidates.
The universities offered for the scholarships are ranked among the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings.

The candidates who will qualify for the universities ranked from 1 to 50 will get full coverage of their tuition fee, stipend and health insurance.
Those who fall in the ranking from 51 to 100 will be given a stipend of $12000 per year.
The aim of the scholarship is to enhance the research capabilities and the standards of higher education in Pakistan.
How to apply for HEC scholarship?
The students who want to apply for the scholarship program can visit the official scholarship portal of HEC.
They can submit their application on the following link: https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk
But the applications must be submitted before the deadline which is April 30.
