The Islamabad Capital Territory Police has announced new civil and uniform job opportunities for Pakistanis in 2026.
Both men and women can apply for different 124 civil staff posts and 1588 uniform posts under the federal quota system.
The department said that the recruitment process will be based on merit and transparency. Applications will only be accepted online.
Vacancies available
A total of 124 vacancies have been announced for six different posts.
There are 20 vacancies for Assistant (BS-15), one vacancy for Production Assistant (BS-14), 25 vacancies for Stenotypist (BS-14), nine vacancies for Data Entry Operator (BS-14), 28 vacancies for Upper Division Clerk or UDC (BS-13), and 41 vacancies for Lower Division Clerk or LDC (BS-11).
The seats have been divided among different provinces and regions. These include Islamabad Capital Territory, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and FATA.

Documents required
Applicants will have to present original documents during the interview stage.
These include a CNIC, academic certificates, domicile certificate and two passport size photographs with a blue background.
Candidates applying under the minority quota will also have to provide an affidavit signed by the Deputy Commissioner.
How to apply
Candidates can apply online through the official websites of Islamabad Police and NPFTAS. The applications have to be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
Additionally, no application sent by hand, courier or any other method will be accepted. Applicants also do not need to send any hard copies at this stage.
Application fee
Candidates will have to pay Rs2,000 for each application and for each post they apply for.
The fee can be paid through banks, ATMs, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, UPaisa and TimePay using the PSID generated by the online portal. Also, the fee is not refundable.
ICT jobs 2026
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for computer based tests, written tests and skill tests. Then, those who pass these stages will be invited for interviews.
