Former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s cousin, Qasim Zaman, was taken into custody in Rawalpindi while he was attempting to meet Khan at Adiala Jail.

According to reports, Zaman had arrived to meet Imran Khan but was taken into custody and shifted to the Adiala police post.

Meanwhile, an application has been submitted to the Adiala Jail superintendent seeking an immediate meeting with Imran Khan.

The application cited concerns over Khan’s health and said that members of the government’s negotiation committee had provided information regarding his condition.

According to the application, reports suggested that Imran Khan’s blood pressure had risen to a critically high level, raising concerns that could not be ignored.

It further claimed that members of the government committee, including Rana Sanaullah, Naveed Qamar and Ejaz Jakhrani, had confirmed the information.

The application argued that an immediate meeting was necessary to ascertain Imran Khan’s health, safety and well-being.
