Senior journalist Azaz Syed has revealed that he was attending a European embassy event abroad where an Israeli ambassador, during a conversation, disclosed that “We had invested heavily in Imran Khan.”
According to Syed, the Israeli envoy said that they had invested a lot in Imran Khan, but he did not meet their expectations.
The ambassador reportedly added that Imran Khan had not performed according to their expectations.
Syed said he personally witnessed the exchange and even tried to record parts of the conversation on his phone.
Azaz Syed further claimed that the Israeli ambassador also stated that Imran Khan’s former in-laws have close ties with Israel.
