Apple is reportedly moving forward with plans for a glass-centric redesign of the iPhone 20, with fresh leaks suggesting the company has started preparing production facilities ahead of the device’s expected launch in 2027.
According to Chinese tipster Fixed Focus Digital, a manufacturing site designated for the iPhone 20 has been renovated and is expected to begin installing production equipment for components in the coming months.
The report claims that Biel Crystal is expected to be the primary supplier for the project, while BYD and Lens Technology are also likely to contribute to the production of key components.
Instead of investing in entirely new production lines, Apple is reportedly planning to reuse some of the equipment previously used to manufacture glass-backed iPhone Pro models. The move could help reduce manufacturing costs and improve production efficiency.
The suppliers are expected to focus mainly on producing the device’s glass exterior and body components.
Previous industry reports have also indicated that Samsung Display and LG Display may be involved in developing the curved display technology rumored for the iPhone 20.
Apple has not officially confirmed any details about the iPhone 20 or its design. For now, all information remains based on industry leaks and should be treated as speculation until the company makes an official announcement.
