Iranian state TV has confirmed that the wife of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Syed Ayatollah Ali Hussaini Khamenei, was martyred during a US-Israel strike.
After the US-Israel attacks on Iran, the Supreme Leader’s wife was critically injured and hospitalised. However, Iran has confirmed today that the wife of Ayatollah Khamenei is no more.
The name of Khamenei’s wife is Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh. She was born in a Persian religious family in Mashhad. Her father was a well-settled businessman of Mashhad.
Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh first met Syed Ayatollah Khamenei in a private event in 1964, and then they got married in the following year.
Bagherzadeh and Khamenei had four sons and two daughters.
Khamenei’s grandchild killed
Several other reports also confirmed the death of the Supreme Leader’s grandchild and daughter.
Iran attacks multiple countries
After the death of the Supreme Leader, Iran launched full-scale attacks on multiple countries. Iran mainly targeted the US military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
The reports also confirmed that Iran attacked the USS Abraham Lincoln with four missiles. After the attack, Iran verified that 10 Israeli and three US soldiers were killed as a result of the strike on the ship.
According to the international media outlet, the US Central Command also confirmed the deaths of three military soldiers. The US Central Command also said that the three military officials are critically injured.
As per the issued statement, several American soldiers sustained minor injuries due to a missile attack on the ship.
The US also said that the large-scale combat operations are still going, and the response is not over yet.
