Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the US-Iran agreement draft is a powerful document. Masoud Pezeshkian wrote in his tweet on X, “This is a historical document and a message from a powerful Iran: Peace will be realised in the shadow of mutual respect.”
The Iranian President also said that Iran is always ready and fully committed to peace in the region. He further wrote in a post on X, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been committed and steadfast to global peace while preserving its dignity and independence, as well as to progress and regional cooperation.”
In another tweet on X, President Pezeshkian said that Iranians will never compromise on their dignity. The Iranian President stated that every achievement in these difficult times was the result of national resilience, political rationality, and responsible diplomacy.
He wrote on X, “This text is the reflection of the voice of a nation that did not trade its dignity and independence for any threat or pressure. What was recorded today was the result of national resilience, political rationality, and responsible diplomacy.”

Earlier, the prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, signed the historic Islamabad memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the US and Iran.
According to an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as mediator.
The Islamabad MOU has been signed by the President of the USA, Donald J. Trump, and the Iranian President, Masoud Pazeshkian.
Earlier, Prime Minister (PM), Shehbaz Sharif, officially announced the electronic signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
In his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Shehbaz Sharif said that I am honoured to announce that the historic ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ has been electronically signed today between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
PM Shehbaz added, “The Memorandum has been signed by the honourable Presidents of both the countries and also endorsed by me as the mediator. The signing of this agreement at the highest level of the respective governments demonstrates the commitment of both sides to a diplomatic resolution of the conflict.”
