Iranian President, Trump may visit Pakistan if deal is sealed: Gharidah Farooqi

Is Trump coming to Pakistan claims Gharidah Farooqi

A possible visit by Donald Trump to Pakistan has been reported following his remarks to The New York Post, where he discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts and the possibility of future travel linked to talks involving Iran.

Trump told The New York Post that his advisers, including special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, would be heading to Islamabad on his behalf for the ongoing discussions. He added that while a visit to Pakistan is not confirmed at this stage, it could happen later depending on how the situation develops. “I would say maybe at a little bit later date. We have to see how it works out tomorrow,” he said.

Following these remarks, journalist Gharida Farooqi posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the Iranian president has reportedly agreed to visit Pakistan if a deal is signed amid ongoing negotiations. She further claimed that there is also a strong possibility of President Trump visiting Pakistan, with all parties reportedly hopeful about a potential timeline around Thursday.

She wrote on X, “Reportedly, Iranian President has agreed to come to Pakistan if the deal is signed amid strong possibility of President Trump to come to Pakistan. Parties looking at and hopeful for the timeline of Thursday.”

Her post added to growing speculation about Pakistan’s emerging role as a possible neutral venue for high-level diplomatic engagement between the United States and Iran. The developments come at a time when efforts are underway to reduce tensions and explore a possible agreement between the two sides.

If the reported deal is finalised and both leaders proceed with visits, it would mark a significant diplomatic milestone, placing Pakistan at the centre of an important international negotiation process
