Islamabad Traffic Police has issued new set of instructions for bus terminals & transport owners.
According to Chief Traffic Officer Humayun Hamza, any passenger bus or van that drops passengers on the way instead of at the terminal will be subject to legal action.
He stated that dropping off travellers on roads poses risks to security; thus, the passengers coming from various cities need to be dropped off at designated terminals.
CTO made it clear that no vehicles and motorbikes shall be allowed to enter in Islamabad without M-Tag.
In addition to this, riding an unregistered motorcycle or a motorcycle without a number plate would not be allowed.
Humayun Hamza stated that stern action will be taken against the owners of such motorcycles.
The Traffic Police says that the purpose of these measures is to ensure the safety of the citizens and improve the traffic discipline in the federal capital.
