A fake news report is circulating on social media regarding shelling in the gurdwara areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The covert propaganda of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) has been exposed. Exclusive drone footage shows that only 15 to 20 people came out of the Rawalakot sit-in and were left disoriented after two tear gas shells were fired.
According to sources, a gathering has taken place in Dhirk, in AJK, where participants are reportedly attempting to march forward.
The sources disclossed that the group is armed and is seeking to disrupt the election process. According to the sources, the group aims to provoke violence and create casualties at the instructions of “foreign handlers.”
State sources said that the government will not yield to such attempts and that the election process will continue as planned. They added that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) want the elections to proceed and have rejected what they described as the disruptive, banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) movement.
Meanwhile, the unconfirmed and unofficial election results from AJK Mirpur Division have started coming in. According to the initial results, PML-N is leading in some constituencies, while PPP is ahead in others.
After the Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Kashmir extended the polling time by one hour, voting in Mirpur Division continued smoothly until 6:00 pm. After polling ended, the counting of votes began.
Based on the initial, unconfirmed, and unofficial results, the positions of candidates in various constituencies are beginning to emerge. However, these results are not final, and the official results will be announced by the Election Commission.
