The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a three day weather forecast for Karachi. According to the forecast, the weather in Karachi will remain hot and humid from Friday to Sunday, May 29 to 31, 2026.
The PMD has said that people in Karachi should prepare for uncomfortable weather. High temperatures and humidity will continue throughout the weekend.
Karachi weather
On Friday, Karachi faced hot and humid conditions with some windy times. The maximum temperature was between 36°C and 38°C.
The minimum temperature stayed near 30°C. Humidity in the morning was around 75 per cent, according to the reports.
In the evening, it was between 60 and 70 per cent. Winds blew from the west and southwest.
Karachi weather today
On Saturday, the weather will remain the same. The maximum temperature is expected to stay between 36°C and 38°C.
The minimum temperature will be between 28°C and 30°C. Morning humidity will stay high at 70 to 80 per cent.
Evening humidity will remain between 60 and 70 per cent, reports say. Winds will continue from the west and southwest.
Karachi weather tomorrow
On Sunday, hot and humid weather will continue. The maximum temperature will be between 35°C and 37°C.
The minimum temperature will remain between 28°C and 30°C. Humidity levels will stay high throughout the day. Winds will also continue from the west and southwest.
Sindh weather update
The PMD also warned about a severe heatwave in Upper Sindh. Temperatures in areas like Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana, and nearby districts may reach 47°C to 50°C.
In other districts like Tharparkar, Badin, Hyderabad, and Matiari, temperatures may rise between 44°C and 47°C. The PMD said this weather can be dangerous for vulnerable people.
Karachi will not face the extreme heat seen in interior Sindh because of its coastal location. However, the city will still have hot and humid conditions.
