LESCO brings Eid relief: No power outages in Lahore

In a major relief for citizens ahead of Eidul Azha, LESCO has announced that there will be no load shedding in Lahore during the Eid holidays.

According to details, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has assured consumers of an uninterrupted electricity supply throughout Eidul Azha to facilitate smooth celebrations across the city.

The government has also announced the Eidul Azha holidays. According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LESCO, there will be no load shedding in the LESCO region during the three days of Eidul Azha, and all necessary arrangements have been completed to ensure a continuous electricity supply.

He stated that the leave of LESCO employees has been cancelled to handle any emergency during Eid. Staff members will work in three shifts to ensure an uninterrupted power supply and the prompt resolution of complaints.

The CEO further said that a special monitoring cell will be established at LESCO headquarters to continuously monitor power supply and field operations throughout the Eid holidays.

On the other hand, the federal government has announced three holidays for Eidul-Azha.

The Prime Minister has approved official public holidays on May 26, 27, and 28 on the occasion of Eidul Azha. The Cabinet Division has issued a notification in this regard.

According to the notification, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be public holidays. These Eidul Azha holidays will apply to all government institutions across the country.
