Pakistani actress Mahira Khan attended the annual dinner of the British Asian Trust in London, where she met King Charles III and spoke with him about the organisation’s work across South Asia.
The star was among a distinguished group of guests at the prestigious event hosted by the British Asian Trust, a charity established by King Charles in 2007 during his tenure as Prince of Wales. The organization focuses on addressing poverty, inequality, and social challenges in countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
For the occasion, Mahira Khan wore an elegant gold-toned ensemble by Faraz Manan, featuring intricate embroidery, shimmering geometric details, a flowing pleated silhouette, and a matching sheer dupatta.
She completed her look with soft waves, subtle makeup, and minimal accessories, allowing the craftsmanship of the outfit to remain the focal point.
Speaking to media representatives after the event, Mahira revealed that King Charles thanked her for her contributions to the British Asian Trust. She described the monarch as charming and said he showed a keen interest in the progress of the Trust’s initiatives.
Mahira Khan added that she appreciated the King’s genuine interest in the organization’s work and its impact on communities across the region.
Earlier, the famous Lollywood star, model and actress, Mahira Khan, shared her experience after representing Pakistan at Harvard University.
In her post on Instagram, she said that it was an honour to be speaking at the Pakistan Conference at Harvard University.
Adding to this, she said, “I represent so much more than myself, I represent where I come from.”
She stated that these moments will always be in her memories.
Mahira said that she would like to thank all of those who were a part of this journey with her, and those whom she met at the conference.
At the end, she remembered the students by saying, “You guys made me feel so warm, I almost forgot how cold it was. Thank you, you guys killed it!”
She also wished to see them all soon.
Pakistan Conference at Harvard 2026
The Pakistan Conference, held at Harvard University on April 12, 2026, is considered the second gathering in North America on Pakistan’s future.
The following guests were invited to the conference: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Former Chief Justice (CJ) Mansoor Ali Shah, US Senator Chris Van Hollen, Former Foreign Minister (FM) Hina Rabbani Khar, Nobel Laureate Daron Acemoglu, Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Hussein Dawood, Arif Habib, and many other esteemed guests.
The theme of the conference was “Pakistan: From Potential to Performance”.
