Acclaimed and much-loved actress Mahira Khan is known for her playful charm and feisty personality. Her pairing with Humayun Saeed on screen has been very popular amongst masses.
Mahira Khan who has been facing off with Humayun Saeed in a series of films to star in the recent past gave some important career advice to her co-star and close friend.
The actress said that Humayun Saeed must now step away from the romantic role and explore negative and action-packed characters to make the audiences see him in an altogether new light.
She expressed these views when she was talking to the media during the promotions of her upcoming film Aag Lagay Basti Mein.
Mahira added “I think Humayun should now take on any negative roles.” I would love to see him as a bad guy or in any powerful and active role like Naurang Nath where he can outlay a totally different side of his personality as she really enjoys action-based characters.”
Present at the same event actor Fahad Mustafa said that he personally enjoys doing action roles but lack of modern facilities required for filmmaking in Pakistan is a major challenge.
Fahad Mustafa also shared that when they were shooting Aag Lagay Basti Mein, he broke his finger during the action scene.
It is worth noting that Mahira Khan has been playing the lead role in Aag Lagay Basti Mein. The film is a combination of action film and comedy with Fahad Mustafa being involved in the production both as an actor and producer.
Previously, Mahira Khan has said that in her upcoming movie “Aag Lage Basti Mein,” she had to go against her natural personality to portray her character. She shared that the role is very different from her previous performances as she had to play a more controversial personality something that did not come easily to her. However she said the strong script greatly helped her prepare for the role.
