Iconic cooking show Handi remains one of the longest-running and most popular cooking shows on Pakistani television. Abeel Jawed stepped away from television hosting after her marriage in 2015. She is a mother of two daughters and currently stays connected with her fans through her YouTube channel and Instagram account.

According to media reports, the news of her husband’s passing was first shared on social media by Abeel Jawed’s sister-in-law. Later, while responding to a user’s question, she revealed that Abeel Jawed’s husband had suffered a heart attack. Abeel Jawed also confirmed her husband’s passing in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts, although she did not share any further details.
