The fans of Mehar Bano were left in shock after the Pakistani actress uploaded a reel on Instagram with Sannan Saleh and it seemed like she got married to her close friend
The confusion happened because the reel was titled “marrily happied”. This was an intentionally spelt tagline which caught the attention of many social media users.
The caption on the screen was also a key point to the speculation: “POV: When you married your best friend.”
But viewers soon realised the video was nothing but a comedy skit in which Mehar Bano, Sannan Saleh and another friend were dressed up as a cleric.
The three of them performed a humorous rendition of a dramatic and romantic wedding video that included a lot of banter, silly looks and intentional misspoken English.

The best part was when Sannan put a ring on Mehar’s finger.
She was delighted to touch the stone, and thought it must be a ruby, but then Sannan corrected her, saying it was a diamond.
Mehar laughed, excused herself for the confusion and soon the discussion shifted to deliberate awkward English to make the video humorous.
The sketch reached its punchline during the mock wedding ceremony when the friend portraying the cleric humorously responded to Mehar’s mispronounced word “isting,” joking that whether it was “sting” or “isting,” both were acceptable.
The deliberately incorrect caption and dialogue reinforced the playful nature of the Reel.
The video quickly went viral, with many fans initially believing it was a real wedding announcement before realising it was all part of a humorous skit.
Others praised the trio’s comic timing and the entertaining chemistry between Mehar Bano and Sannan Saleh.
