Microsoft is now officially rebuilding Windows 11 and has confirmed that the operating system will be developed based on consumer feedback.
The company has gathered a team of product specialists and engineers who are enthusiastic and take pride in the development of Windows 11.
During a recent gathering with Windows Insiders in Seattle, Microsoft’s leadership affirmed that they have been reviewing feedback from testers over the past few months.
This also indicates that the recent modifications in Windows 11 development are unrelated to MacBook Neo. Conspiracy theorists speculated that Microsoft was reviving Windows 11 due to competition from Apple in the mid-range market, but this is not accurate.
Microsoft focuses on user feedback for Windows 11
It is important to note that Microsoft has been thoroughly examining critical feedback since early 2026, with increased focus in the last few months.
“In the past few months, my team and I have been reviewing and analysing feedback from the Windows Insiders, and what emerged for us was truly a community and a voice that genuinely cares about Windows,” states Pavan Davuluri, who leads the Windows group at Microsoft.
The head of Windows also mentioned that everyone should be enthusiastic about the rebuilding of Windows 11 in 2026.
He added further, “I also want you to know this is the start. I’m really excited for what’s ahead. This year you’re going to see us really double down on it. Navjot and I have this frame of customer love equals performance. Is it fast? Reliability: is easy to use, does it do all the things I think of from a quality perspective? And then craft, how do I feel? Does it make me happy? Do I feel connected to the product?”
