Applications for the Moroccan Govt Scholarship Program are now open for Pakistanis by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The program covers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level studies and offers ten scholarships for Pakistanis.
This is a great opportunity for Pakistanis who want to study abroad, as it is fully funded. Admission to Moroccan universities is easier compared to many European countries. Since Morocco is close to Europe, especially Italy, students may also explore opportunities for work visas in Europe after completing their studies.
The deadline for the application is June 10, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria of Moroccan Govt Scholarships Program 2026–27
You need a good academic standing for this program and be a Pakistani/AJK national & permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationality holders are not eligible.
All applicants are required to provide a valid HAT or USAT test score. Those applicants who do not have a valid HAT/USAT test score. Nomination criteria are based on the USAT test score for Bachelors, and the HAT test score for Master’s/PhD programs.
It is pertinent to mention that French is the primary language of instruction in most Moroccan higher education institutions, particularly in scientific, technical, and economic disciplines. Students who do not possess adequate French language proficiency may be required to undertake preparatory language courses upon arrival in Morocco. Certain programmes, such as Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, are taught in Arabic.
