motorcycles penalty indicators

Motorcyclists have been urged by the Traffic Police Punjab to follow the road safety rules swiftly. They have especially emphasised the proper use of turn indicators.

They have warned the public of strict penalties in the case of violations.

The traffic police have made it clear that any rider who is riding on a motorcycle without an indicator will face a fine of Rs2000.

It has been stressed by the officials that ignoring indicators is not only a traffic violation but it is also a major cause of road accidents. This puts both the rider and others at serious risk.

It was also highlighted by the officials that maintaining functional indicators is inexpensive. It can be maintained with an estimated functional cost of Rs400.

The statement of the officials said that these small investments in safety can save lives and prevent a lot of accidents.

Additional safety measures have also been reinforced by the traffic police in Punjab. These additional measures include proper maintenance of motorcycles and mandatory use of helmets.

It was noted by the authorities that these precautions are essential to ensure safer travel for families and their individuals.

It was warned by the Punjab Traffic police that the enforcement will become more intensified in the coming days.

They also made clear that violators will also be penalised without leniency.

All these developments are part of ongoing efforts to improve road safety and reduce traffic-related incidents across the province.

Other than these enforcement measures have also been increased by Lahore’s traffic police by assigning new daily challan targets to wardens across the city.

It has been reported that traffic wardens all across the city have been ordered to issue at least 25 challan tickets per day.

These new instructions were shared by SP traffic Lahore.
