The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an important announcement regarding a temporary disruption in its services.

NADRA, the sole authorised institution responsible for issuing national identity cards and other identification documents to Pakistanis at home and abroad, released a notice informing users about a service interruption due to technical reasons.

According to the statement, satellite communication services will be unavailable on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM due to technical issues.

During this period, services at 51 NADRA centres connected via satellite in remote areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain suspended.

NADRA has apologised for the inconvenience caused to citizens and has also shared details of the affected centres.
