The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a new fee structure for its various services, including identity cards, Juvenile Cards, National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) and Pakistan Origin Cards (POC).
According to the details released by NADRA, fees vary depending on the service and processing category, including normal, urgent and executive services. The updated information is intended to help citizens know the applicable charges before applying for identity documents.
Form B and Juvenile Card fees
The normal fee for a Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as Form B, has been set at Rs50. The urgent category is not available for Form B, while the executive fee is Rs500.
For a Juvenile Card, the normal fee is Rs750, the urgent fee is Rs1,500 and the executive fee is Rs2,500.
National Identity Card and Smart ID Card fees
NADRA has kept the normal processing fee for a first-time National Identity Card (CNIC) free of charge. Applicants will pay Rs1,150 under the urgent category and Rs2,150 under the executive category.
The fee for a Smart National Identity Card is Rs750 for normal processing, Rs1,500 for urgent processing and Rs2,500 for executive processing.
NICOP fees
The fee for the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) varies according to the applicant’s region.
For Zone A, which includes the United States, Europe and Australia, the normal fee is $39, the urgent fee is $57 and the executive fee is $75.
For Zone B, covering the Middle East, Africa and other Asian countries, the normal fee is $20, the urgent fee is $30 and the executive fee is $40.
Pakistan Origin Card fees
The Pakistan Origin Card (POC) carries the highest fees among the services listed.
The normal POC fee is $150, while the urgent fee is $200 and the executive fee is $250.
The updated fee structure provides citizens with information on the charges applicable to different NADRA services and processing categories.
