The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a special home-based service for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
In a statement, NADRA said that people who find it difficult to visit a NADRA centre can book an appointment and request a NADRA Biker to visit their home. The service allows applicants to complete the process for renewing or modifying their National Identity Card without travelling to a NADRA office.
The facility is currently available in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Lahore, Karachi and Hyderabad.
To book an appointment, customers can contact NADRA’s helpline at 051-111-786-100 or dial 1777 from a mobile phone.
