Deputy PM reaffirms commitment towards strengthening Pak-Canada relations

Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, on Thursday reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to promoting Pak-Canada bilateral relations across various sectors.

The Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting with Canadian High Commissioner, Ambassador Tarik Ali Khan, who visited him at his office, as stated in a news release from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.

Ambassador Tarik Ali Khan expressed Canada’s gratitude for and support of Pakistan’s initiatives to foster engagement aimed at promoting regional peace.

Deputy PM emphasised Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to fostering peace both in the region and beyond, focusing on Pak-Canada relations as well.

Ishaq Dar discusses regional developments with Canadian FM

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister (FM) Anita Anand. They assessed the current regional developments.

Canadian FM acknowledged and voiced her support for Pakistan’s ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering sustained dialogue and constructive engagement among the involved parties.

Both parties expressed optimism for enduring peace and a lasting ceasefire throughout the region, including Lebanon, while reiterating their dedication to broader stability and collaboration.

Saudi diplomat holds consultative meeting with Deputy PM

The development came after Saudi diplomat, Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khaled bin Saud Al-Kabeer held a consultative meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

The meeting also involved discussions among Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey.

Discussions with the Saudi diplomat focused on the latest regional developments and strategies to improve joint coordination between Pakistan and other Muslim nations, aimed at ensuring security and stability, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
