Pakistani passport holders can now travel to more than 30 countries without long visa procedures in 2026.
Reports say that travellers can now enter many countries through visa-free entry, visa on arrival, or through quick online visas using the Pakistani passport.
This means now you can avoid visiting embassies and wait for long approvals. Here you can see what you need to know about these countries.
Which countries are visa-free for Pakistanis
Visa-free countries include Barbados, Dominica, The Gambia, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The stay period that is permitted at these places also ranges from one to six months.
Easy visa on arrival for Pakistanis
For a visa on arrival, you can choose from countries like the Maldives, Qatar, Nepal, Rwanda, Cambodia, Madagascar, and Mozambique, which allow entry after arrival.
Travellers usually need basic documents such as a return ticket and a hotel booking for these countries.
Easy online visa for a Pakistani passport
Some of the countries also use online visa systems for faster approval. These places include Kenya, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and Azerbaijan. In such cases, your visas are likely to be approved within hours or a few days.
However, travellers still need to meet basic requirements. According to the details, you should have a passport that is valid for at least six months, proof of return travel, enough money, and a confirmed place to stay.
In some of the regions, like Africa and the Caribbean, health documents like polio or yellow fever vaccination certificates may also be needed.
Pakistan ‘to ban’ dual citizenship
The Establishment Division has sent a draft amendment to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) about the rules on dual citizenship for government employees, according to the reports on Tuesday.
According to reports shared by a private news channel, the proposal suggests a complete ban on dual citizenship for foreign service officers and staff.
In addition to this, other government employees will need official permission before getting citizenship in another country.
