The Asian Champions U19 Pakistan cricket team is set to face England in their opening fixture of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2026 today at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare.
The Pakistani side is very confident and in red-hot form due to a dominant tri-series win in Zimbabwe. The U19 Pakistan cricket team aims to continue their streak and add another major trophy to their collection.
The team also wants to recreate history. The team seeks to secure their third ICC U19 World Cup Title. Pakistan U19 has won the trophy previously in 2004 and 2006.

The opening match of Pakistan against England is scheduled to start at 12:30 AM on Friday, January 16.
The ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup 2026 is being jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia and will run from January 15 to February 6.
Pakistan U19 will be competing in the Group C of the tournament of the 16 team tournament.
Their opening clash will be with England; after that, on January 19, they will face Scotland at the same venue. Their final Group C match will be against the hosts, Zimbabwe, on January 22.
After the group, the competition will move into the Super Six round from January 24 to February 1. The matches for Super Six will be scheduled in Harare and Bulawayo.
The top four teams from the Super Six stage will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be held from February 3 to 4. The final will take place at the Harare Sports Club on February 6.
