The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence has reported intercepting 11 missiles and 27 drones in the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, since the start of the conflict, it has dealt with 1,941 drones and 440 missiles. A social media statement added that eight people have been killed and 178 injured in the attacks so far.

Since the start of the war between the United States and Israel, Iran has been targeting neighbouring countries where the United States maintains a presence.

On the other hand, economic pressure on the Gulf countries is increasing due to the US and Israel’s conflict with Iran. In response, Jordan has banned the use of air conditioners in government buildings.

According to the official Jordanian news agency, Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan issued a directive restricting the use of official vehicles and banning international visits by government delegations and committees for two months.

The Jordanian government has already acknowledged that rising fuel and energy prices are affecting the country’s economic situation.

Iran responds US, Israeli attacks with full force

Currently, Iran responded to US and Israeli attacks with full force, firing missiles at key facilities in the Israeli city of Haifa and other areas.

A severe fire broke out at a chemical plant in southern Israel following an Iranian missile attack. US targets were also struck in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence reported shooting down five drones and stated that an Indian citizen was killed in the attack. According to Israeli media, an Iranian missile strike caused a fire at an oil refinery in Haifa, and efforts are ongoing to control the blaze.
