The venue for the Pakistan women’s cricket team’s tour of Sri Lanka has been partially revised. The upcoming T20 series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now be played in Dambulla instead of Hambantota.
The dates of the series remain unchanged, with the three T20 matches scheduled to take place on July 31, August 2, and August 4. According to the announcement, there has been no change to the dates of the series.

On the other hand, the National women’s cricket team Captain Fatima Sana has expressed optimism about the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, saying that the team’s goal is to achieve the best possible results by playing positive and aggressive cricket.
In a media interview, Fatima Sana said that the team will have to compete strongly in the series against Sri Lanka and will aim to perform better than in the previous series against South Africa and Zimbabwe.
She said the team has learned from the mistakes made in past series and every effort is being made to avoid repeating them. The national captain added that the team management is working to build a strong and balanced ODI squad by creating the best possible combination of senior and junior players.
Fatima Sana said the performances of Gul Feroza, Sadaf Shams, and Sidra Amin in the previous series were highly encouraging and a positive sign for the team.
She said the team’s objective is to develop as many match-winners as possible because having more players capable of changing the outcome of a game will make the team stronger. She expressed her determination that the national team will play positive, aggressive, and fearless cricket, especially with important matches against top teams ahead.
Fatima Sana said that adapting to the demands of modern international cricket is essential, and the team must overcome its weaknesses and mistakes as quickly as possible.
Speaking about her participation in The Hundred tournament, Fatima Sana said she is excited about playing in the event, although she regrets missing the national team’s T20 series due to her participation. She added that playing in The Hundred will provide her with valuable learning opportunities, and she will try to share her experiences with other national team players.
