Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated a Daanish School in Islamabad, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing quality education to talented students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the prime minister said the government wanted to empower young people by giving them equal opportunities to receive a quality education.

He described the success stories of Daanish School graduates as inspiring and said financial difficulties prevented many talented students from reaching their full potential.

Shehbaz Sharif said he launched the Daanish Schools network in 2010 to provide quality education to underprivileged children across the country, including those from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. He said these institutions aimed to offer educational standards comparable to those of elite schools.

The prime minister stressed that every child deserved equal educational opportunities, regardless of their family’s financial status or social background.

“If these children are left to waste their time in the muddy streets of their villages and cities, then this is not the Pakistan of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” he said.

He added that Pakistan could only fulfil its founding vision by ensuring that talented children from all backgrounds had access to quality education.
