RAWALPINDI: The so-called sit-in at Adiala Jail was shattered by police, as they water cannoned the workers to stablise the law in order situation.
A savage late-night raid by the police of Rawalpindi dispersed PTI demonstrators outside Adiala Jail.
In the early part of Wednesday, the police opened water cannons on the protesters who assembled in the freezing winter.
As a result, the people dissolved as icy water wetted those who were seated close to the gates of the prison.
Other relatives, such as Aleema Khan, had to run out of the commotion. Moreover, some of the workers were arrested with security agents sweeping the highways.
Passing over to a calm watch, to complete anarchy, the place was deserted at daybreak.
Meanwhile, the high-ranking party officials were in large part not present at the peak of the crackdown. All in all, the forceful application of force by the state has managed to put down the demonstration that lasted a week.
On Wednesday, the crowds were dispersed successfully by the police through water cannons in the biting cold.
This has made the majority of the workers too afraid to go back to the streets at night. Although some fanatical fans still reside, they hardly make an impression.
Finally, the political sit-in is overpowered by the will of the government and the harsh winter conditions.
