The Punjab Environment Protection and Climate Change Department has announced new emission testing fees for vehicles starting November 10.
According to the notification:
- Up to 1,000cc: Rs. 500
- 1,001cc to 1,500cc: Rs. 800
- 1,501cc to 2,500cc: Rs. 1,000
- 2,501cc to 4,500cc: Rs. 1,500
- Above 4,500cc: Rs. 2,000
The fee must be paid online through the e-Pay system, and a confirmation message will be sent to the user’s registered mobile number.
Motorists are also required to bring their CNIC for the test.
